Among other Cities with the same population and size Denver and the surrounding suburbs were ranked at the top of the healthy list. This study was done by Metro Denver Health and wellness commission. The study also noted that the obesity rate is on the rise and more that more than half of the population is either over weight or obese. Other cities that came up on top of the list were Austin Texas and Seattle, however Tampa  Florida and Houston were at the bottom of the list.
