The 2008 Democratic National Convention. The Convention will be held every night at the Pepsi Center and will cause an impact to local hotels, returaunts, limousine and taxi services, and entertainment venues. This will be the 45th democratic national convention and will be held August 25th 2008 in Denver Colorado. It is estimated that the aproximate number of hotel rooms to be reserved will be around 17000 out of the 38000 available. The Democratic convention is believed to bring in over 35000 people into Colorado between Aug 25th - Aug 28th. Without a doubt the conventino will provide the service and hospitality industry with a major boost. The impact of media spotlight in Denver will be unmeasurable.
